One-of-a-kind handmade statement necklace created from an eclectic assortment of decorative metal shank buttons. The centerpiece features an ornate openwork floral button surrounded by textured domed buttons and smaller embossed designs in mixed silver, bronze, brass and antiqued tones. Not hot glued to felt, wired together!
The buttons appear to have been repurposed and are connected by dark wire on the reverse, giving the piece a distinctive artisan assemblage look. Some of the individual buttons may be older or vintage, although their exact age cannot be confirmed.
