Retired Byers’ Choice Ltd. “The Cries of London” straw ornament vendor Caroler, dated 2006. This distinctive male street vendor wears a burgundy hat, blue coat, cream scarf, dark trousers and green stockings. He carries a basket and tall wooden display pole filled with detailed handmade-style straw Christmas ornaments, including stars, wreaths, snowflakes and an angel.

The original “Byers’ Choice Presents The Cries of London” hanging tag remains attached. The underside retains the original Byers’ Choice Ltd. label, and the green base is signed Byers.

Important condition note: One straw decorative piece attached to the long wooden pole is broken. The damage is visible in the close-up photos and has been considered in the price. The figurine is otherwise attractive for display, restoration or completion of a Cries of London collection.
